    ChangeNOW uses the best available rate at the exact moment of exchange

    If you start the exchange now but the market rate changes slightly in the time it takes to deposit the input currency and actually make the exchange, you could end up receiving slightly more or less based on the exchange rate at that time.

    For most people this is the fairest and easiest option, but if you need to receive an *EXACT* output amount you can also ask ChangeNOW to lock in a fixed quote - just keep in mind that this applies a slightly worse exchange rate (higher fee) to the exchange.
